Tip Of Borneo
Travel up North of Kota Kinabalu and venture to the district of Kudat , the home of the 'Rungus' tribe, a sub-group of the Kadazan people, who traditionally lived inland in longhouse communities to stay beyond the reach of the pirates who frequented the coastline.
Being active in agriculture and craftmanship, the 'Rungus' tribe cultivates padi, coconut, sweet corn, honey and are good in making magnificent 'Gongs', Colorful Beads and traditional costumes.
Going up to Kudat also brings you to another beautiful landmark, The 'Tip Of Borneo' Island.
This is where visitors can travel to the very tip of the Borneo Island. Its white sandy beach, pristine crystal clear waters and untouch corals are a haven for nature and marine life lovers. Words can only describe a few. Its time for you to see it by yourself.
